Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Steven Marcus earned a Bachelor of Science in 1998 from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Juris Doctor in 2004 from Glendale University College of Law. From 2006 to 2020, he served as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in Los Angeles. From 2005 to 2006, he was in private practice in Los Angeles. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
