Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Morgan C Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government in 1994 from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, in 1999 from George Mason University School of Law. She served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kenneth L. Ryskamp of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida (1999-2000) and as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida (2001-2005), followed by roles including chief oversight counsel in the U.S. House of Representatives (2006-2011) and deputy inspector general at the Department of Commerce (2013-2015), and later legal, ethics, and compliance leadership positions in the public and private sectors. Judge Kim is a member of the State Bar of California and the District of Columbia Bar.
