Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge John B. Carle earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1990 from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Juris Doctor in 1993 from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. He was an associate attorney at Magner, Love & Morris PC in Buffalo (1993-1995), an assistant district attorney in Erie County (1995-2000) and in Philadelphia (2000-2007), and from 2007 to 2016 served as assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Chief Counsel, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security. He was appointed an immigration judge in June 2016 and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar.
