Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Daniel A Morris earned a Bachelor of Science in 1976 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a Juris Doctor in 1981 from Creighton University School of Law, and a Master of Business Administration in 1981 from Creighton University Graduate School. He served as an assistant U.S. attorney in Omaha (1987-2002), then entered private practice (2002-2005), and from October 2005 served as an assistant chief counsel with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in Omaha until his appointment to the bench. He is a member of the Nebraska Bar.
