Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Christopher M Greer earned a Bachelor of Arts (1989) and a Juris Doctor (1992) from the University of Utah, and a Master of Laws (2003) from The Army Judge Advocate General's School. Before his appointment, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps legal community, including as deputy chief trial judge at the Navy-Marine Corps Trial Judiciary (2015-2017). His earlier career included deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq and roles as defense counsel and prosecutor.
