Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Charles Ouslander earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1984 from Hamilton College and a Juris Doctor in 1987 from Brooklyn Law School. From 2018 to 2021, he served as a senior staff attorney with Disability Rights New Jersey. From 2011 to 2018, he was designated counsel for the Office of the Public Defender, and from 2011 to 2014 he served as a municipal court judge in Hopewell Township. He held various prosecutor positions in New Jersey and New York from 1987 to 2010. Judge Ouslander is a member of the Connecticut Bar, New Jersey State Bar, and New York State Bar.
