Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Audra R. Behne earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1992 from California State University, Northridge, and a Juris Doctor in 1995 from the Southwestern University School of Law. From 2014 to 2018, she served as senior pro bono coordinating attorney for Kids In Need of Defense in Los Angeles, while maintaining a private immigration practice from 2004 to 2018. Earlier, she was an associate attorney with Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP in Los Angeles (2001-2004) and a senior attorney with Korenberg, Abramowitz & Feldun in Encino, California (1996-2001). She is a member of the State Bar of California.
