Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Angela Munson earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1990 from Georgia State University and a Juris Doctor in 1994 from Tulane Law School. She served as an assistant district attorney in the Fulton County District Attorney's Office (1994-1998) and as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia (1998-2018), including a detail as resident legal advisor to the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq (2011-2012). She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
