Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Shadee M. Star earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1996 from California State University, Fullerton, and a Juris Doctor in 1999 from Stetson University College of Law. From 2010 to 2018 she served as a senior attorney for ICE within the Department of Homeland Security in Los Angeles, and from 2003 to 2010 as assistant chief counsel for ICE/DHS in Los Angeles. Earlier, she practiced at a private law firm in Irvine, California, from 2000 to 2003. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
