Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Michael Tripi earned a Bachelor of Science in 2004 from Kent State University and a Juris Doctor in 2007 from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. From 2009 to 2020, he served as an assistant chief counsel for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Cleveland, and from 2007 to 2009 as an assistant prosecutor with the Summit County Prosecutor's Office in Akron, Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar.
