Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Kiera Parikh earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 from Columbia University and a Juris Doctor in 2006 from the University of Houston. From 2015 to 2026, she served as an associate division counsel with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the Houston Division. From 2009 to 2015, she served as an assistant general counsel with the FBI Office of General Counsel, National Security Law Branch, in Washington, D.C. In 2008, she served as a special assistant U.S. attorney with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
