Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Jane Chace Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1984 from Chestnut Hill College and a Juris Doctor in 1987 from the Dickinson School of Law. From 1988 to 1997 she served as an assistant State's attorney in Wicomico County, Maryland, and she later maintained a private practice focused on criminal, family, and civil matters, served as trust clerk for the Circuit Court for Queen Anne's County (2001-2016), and served as a Maryland parole commissioner from 2016 to 2023. She was appointed as an immigration judge in August 2023. Judge Miller is a member of the Maryland State Bar.
