Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Bao Q. Nguyen earned a Bachelor of Science in 2001 from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Juris Doctor in 2005 from Temple University School of Law. Before his appointment, he served as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in San Antonio and Pearsall, Texas (2016-2019). Earlier he was an attorney at Margaret W. Wong & Associates in Cleveland (2013-2016) and at Reza Athari & Associates in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City (2007-2013).
