Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Ann M Mcdermott earned a Bachelor of Arts (1988) from Central Michigan University and a Juris Doctor (2002) from Gonzaga University School of Law. Before her appointment, she held several positions with the Nevada Office of the Attorney General in Las Vegas, including senior deputy attorney general, chief deputy attorney general, and litigation bureau chief. Earlier she worked in private practice and as in-house counsel.
