Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Andrea Hong earned a Bachelor of Science in 1996 from Case Western Reserve University and a Juris Doctor in 1999 from the University of Akron School of Law. From 2009 to 2019, she served as an assistant chief counsel with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and earlier worked as a deputy district attorney with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office (2006-2009). She previously served as an assistant prosecutor with the Summit County Prosecutor's Office in Ohio and as an assistant city prosecutor with the Akron City Prosecutor's Office. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
