Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Alison R Kane earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1997 from Syracuse University and a Juris Doctor in 2003 from Boston College Law School. She served in the Peace Corps in Guinea from 1997 to 1999, then worked as an attorney advisor with the Executive Office for Immigration Review through the Attorney General's Honors Program (2003-2005). She was an associate with Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP in New York and Philadelphia and, from 2010 to May 2016, served as an assistant chief counsel with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security. She is a member of the New York State Bar.
