Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Stephen Alcorn earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1989 from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Juris Doctor in 2000 from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. From 2022 to 2026 he served as a legal instructor at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy, and earlier was city attorney for Montrose, Colorado (2013-2021), a district court judge in Oklahoma (2004-2013), and an assistant district attorney in Oklahoma County (1997-2004). He also served as an armor officer in the U.S. Army.
