Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Matthew Andrasko earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2002 from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctor in 2009 from Texas Tech University School of Law. From 2015 to April 2026, he served as an attorney advisor to the U.S. Air Force, and earlier worked as an assistant district attorney (2011-2015) and an assistant public defender (2009-2011). He has served as a commissioned military officer since 2003, attaining the rank of lieutenant colonel, and is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico.
