Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Lourdes Rodriguez De Jongh earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1976 from the University of Miami and a Juris Doctor in 1988 from the University of Miami School of Law. Before her appointment, she maintained an immigration law practice in Miami and Tucson, Arizona (1995-2008), served as a staff attorney with the Asylum Program of Southern Arizona (2001-2002), and worked as a staff attorney with the Legal Services of Greater Miami AILA Pro Bono Project (1991-1995).
