Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Joshua D Luskin earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1994 from Macalester College and a Juris Doctor in 1997 from the University of Michigan. He served as a commissioner (2015-2019) and arbitrator (2011-2015) at the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, and as a litigation attorney at Nyhan, Bambrick, Kinzie & Lowry from 2003 to 2011. He earlier served as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Navy from 2000 to 2003 and as an assistant state's attorney in Champaign County, Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar.
