The Honorable Immigration Judge Jeb Terrien earned a Bachelor of Science in 1994 from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor in 1997 from Tulane Law School. Before his appointment as a Unit Chief Immigration Judge, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Western District of Virginia (2009-2021), as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Ohio and Northern District of West Virginia (2004-2008), as a regional drug prosecutor for Virginia (2000-2004), as an assistant attorney general in Virginia (1999-2000), and as an assistant Commonwealth's attorney for Accomack County (1998-1999).
