Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Jaime Poarch earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, double majoring in Anthropology and Philosophy, in 2011 from Texas Tech University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2018 from South Texas College of Law Houston. From October 2025 to April 2026, she served as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in Houston. From May 2019 to October 2025, she served as an assistant district attorney with the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office in Conroe, Texas.
