Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Fayaz Habib earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2010 from the University of Georgia and a Juris Doctor in 2014 from Georgia State University College of Law. From 2020 to 2024, he served as a deputy chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and earlier served as an assistant chief counsel in New York (2018-2020) and in Lumpkin, Georgia, and New York City (2014-2018). He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
