Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Daniel B. Conklin earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2003 from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor in 2010 from the University of Kansas School of Law. He entered on duty through the Attorney General's Honors Program as a judicial law clerk and attorney advisor at the Kansas City Immigration Court (2010-2012), served as a staff attorney for the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center in York, Pennsylvania (2013-2014), and practiced immigration law with The Shagin Law Group in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (2014-2023). He was appointed as an immigration judge in November 2023 and sits at the Indianapolis Immigration Court. Judge Conklin is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
