Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Bradley Burke earned a Bachelor of General Studies in 1998 from the University of Kansas and a Juris Doctor in 2001 from the University of Kansas School of Law. Before his appointment, he served as a regional director with the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights in Kansas City, Missouri (2018-2026), as deputy secretary and chief attorney at the Kansas Department of Labor (2012-2018), as chief attorney for the Kansas Juvenile Justice Authority (2011-2013), as an assistant district attorney and special assistant U.S. attorney in Johnson County, Kansas (2007-2011), as an assistant attorney general in Topeka (2005-2007), and as an assistant district attorney in Douglas County, Kansas (2001-2005).
