Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge An Mai Nguyen earned a Bachelor of Arts (1996) from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctor (2000) from Southwestern Law School. From 2000 to 2003 she served as an assistant district counsel for the former Immigration and Naturalization Service in Los Angeles. She later worked for Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Las Vegas from 2007 to 2017, including as a special assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Nevada from 2009 to 2011.
