Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Amiena A. Khan earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1983 from New York University Washington Square College of Arts and Science and a Juris Doctor in 1987 from New York Law School. Before her appointment, she was in private practice in New York specializing in immigration law (1992-2010) and, earlier, in general litigation (1987-1992).
