Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Alexandra R Larsen earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1996 from Macalester College and a Juris Doctor in 2002 from Creighton University School of Law. Before her appointment, she served as an assistant chief counsel for ICE's Office of the Principal Legal Advisor in Omaha (2014-2019) and Saint Paul, Minnesota (2012-2014), as deputy chief and chief of the District Court Litigation Division at ICE in Washington, D.C. (2011-2012), as an associate legal advisor at ICE (2008-2011), as a judicial law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Donald E. O'Brien (2007-2008), and in civil litigation practice (2002-2007).
