Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Roger H Dinh earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts, both in 2007, from Santa Clara University, and a Juris Doctor in 2011 from Hofstra University School of Law. Before his appointment, he served as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in Denver and San Francisco (2016-2023), and earlier as a special assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of Ohio and the Northern District of California and as an associate attorney at Michael B. Schulman & Associates PC in New York.
