Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Nicole I Wells earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2008 from Edgewood College and a Juris Doctor in 2012 from the University of Wisconsin Law School. From June 2015 to December 2024, she served as an assistant chief counsel with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Minneapolis, and from December 2024 to April 2026 she was a general attorney with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Earlier, from September 2012 to June 2015, she worked as a judicial law clerk and attorney advisor at immigration courts.
