Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Lily C. Hsu earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1996 and a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2000. She served as an assistant chief counsel with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Los Angeles (2006-2019), including service as a special assistant U.S. attorney for the Central District of California (2009-2011), and earlier worked as an asylum officer with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in Anaheim (2004-2006) and as an associate attorney at Reeves and Associates ALPC (2001-2004). She is a member of the California State Bar.
