Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Lian Yeh earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2004 from the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Geneseo and a Juris Doctor in 2014 from the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo Law School. From 2020 to 2026, he served as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in Port Isabel, Texas and Houston. He previously was an attorney advisor with the Social Security Administration's Office of Hearing Operations in Syracuse (2018-2020), an assistant district attorney in Watertown, New York (2017-2018), and an associate at the Law Offices of Kim & Associates in Flushing, New York (2016-2017). Judge Yeh is a member of the New York State Bar.
