Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Jonathan Charles Andresen earned a Bachelor of Science in 2000 from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctor in 2004 from South Texas College of Law. From 2020 to 2025, he served as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in Houston. From 2004 to 2020, he was in private practice in Houston. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
