Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Gwendylan E. Tregerman earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1992 from Stony Brook University and a Juris Doctor in 1996 from Boston University School of Law. From August 2002 to March 2017, she served with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Office of Chief Counsel, including as deputy chief counsel from 2013 to 2017. She earlier was a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta (1997-2000) and an acting supervisory staff attorney (2000-2001). Judge Tregerman is a member of the New York, Massachusetts, and Georgia Bars.
