Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Edward Grogan earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1984 from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor in 1992 from Albany Law School. He served as a U.S. Army infantry officer (1984-1988) and as a U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps officer (1994-2000), and was in private practice in Clifton Park, New York (1993). From 2000 to 2020, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of New York in Albany.
