Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Danielle H. Garten earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2002 from Quinnipiac University and a Juris Doctor in 2005 from Touro College-Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Before her appointment, she served as an assistant chief counsel with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in El Paso, Texas, and as a special assistant U.S. attorney for the Western District of Texas (2016-2022). Earlier she was an associate attorney at law firms in New York (2006-2016) and an analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency (2009-2011).
