Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Annie S Garcy earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1975 from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor in 1978 from the University of Houston. She was in private practice in Houston, Texas from 1978 to 1990 and served as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston. She obtained specialization in immigration law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1984, with recertification in 1994, and is a member of the Texas Bar.
