Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Andrew Fishkin earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1993 and a Master of Arts in 2000 from California State University, Long Beach, and a Juris Doctor in 2004 from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Before his appointment, he worked as a private practitioner in Bakersfield, California (2006-2021), and earlier served as a senior special agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (2003-2005), a special agent with the Immigration and Naturalization Service (1997-2003), and a Border Patrol agent (1996-1997).
