Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Amy Fairchild Haer earned a Bachelor of Science in 2003 from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Juris Doctor in 2008 from George Washington University Law School. Before her appointment, she served as director of immigration legal services at Catholic Charities Atlanta (2017-2022) and held immigration legal services roles with Catholic Community Services in Tucson (2012-2017). She earlier worked as a staff attorney with Catholic Charities Atlanta (2008-2012) and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
