Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Adam Rodriguez earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2011 from the University of Texas at Brownsville and a Juris Doctor in 2015 from Texas Tech University School of Law. Before his appointment, he served as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, from July 2016 to February 2026, and earlier served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Micaela Alvarez of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas (2015-2016). He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
