Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Adam Jovanovic earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2002 from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor in 2010 from the Michigan State University College of Law. Before his appointment, he served as a deputy chief counsel (2019-2021) and assistant chief counsel (2014-2019) with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in Houston, Conroe, and Oakdale, Louisiana. Earlier he was an attorney advisor with the Social Security Administration in Lansing, Michigan (2012-2014) and an attorney advisor at the Detroit Immigration Court (2010-2012).
