Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Terry A. Bain received a Bachelor of Arts in 1973 from George Washington University and a Juris Doctor in 1980 from Brooklyn Law School. From 1986 to 1994, she worked as an attorney for Whitman, Breed, Abbott & Morgan in New York. From 1981 to 1986, she was in private practice with Barst & Mukamal in New York. She was appointed as an immigration judge in February 1994 and is a member of the New York Bar.
