Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Robert Martin earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1991 from Saint Leo College, a Juris Doctor in 1995 from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, and a Master of Laws in 2007 from the Army Judge Advocate General's School. He served as presiding judge of the Odessa Municipal Court in Odessa, Texas from 2024 to 2026, and as a senior attorney advisor at the U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Sam Houston, Texas from 2015 to 2023. Earlier he had an extended career as a U.S. Army judge advocate, retiring from active duty in 2015. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
