Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Revathi Muneer earned a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Christian University and a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law. From 1996 to 2022, she worked with the former Immigration and Naturalization Service and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in various capacities, including asylum officer and supervisory roles, and from 2022 to 2026 she served as an assistant chief counsel with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in El Paso and San Francisco. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
