Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Paul A Mccloskey earned a Bachelor of Science in 1996 from Towson State University and a Juris Doctor in 1999 from the University of Maryland School of Law. From 1999 to 2018 he held a series of federal immigration positions, beginning as a presidential management intern with the Immigration and Naturalization Service and serving as an assistant chief counsel in Baltimore and New Orleans (2002-2008). He later held associate legal advisor and supervisory roles with DHS/ICE, including deputy chief of the Criminal Law Section (2014-2016) and associate deputy principal legal advisor for Field Legal Operations (2016-2018).
