The Honorable Immigration Judge Jennie L Giambastiani earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1983 from Loyola University of Chicago and a Juris Doctor in 1986 from Loyola University School of Law. From April 1987 through May 2002, she served as district counsel, deputy district counsel, assistant district counsel, and supervisory legalization officer for the former Immigration and Naturalization Service in Chicago. She was appointed an immigration judge in May 2002 and is a member of the Illinois Bar.
