The Honorable Immigration Judge Jeffrey L Menkin earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1981 from Brandeis University and a Juris Doctor in 1984 from Rutgers University School of Law at Camden. He served as a deputy attorney general in the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice (1985-1987), as an associate at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer (1987-1991), as a trial attorney in the Fraud Section of the U.S. Department of Justice (1991-1996), and as senior counsel for national security in the DOJ Office of Immigration Litigation (2006-2018).
