Background
The Honorable Immigration Judge Attila Bogdan earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1996 from Whitworth University and both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration in 2000 from DePaul University. From 2003 to 2023, he served as an assistant state's attorney in Chicago, Illinois, and from 2023 to 2025 he was an assistant U.S. attorney in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has served as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force and Wisconsin Air National Guard since 2008. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar and was appointed to the Dallas Immigration Court in October 2025.
