Background

The Honorable Immigration Judge Traci Winder earned a Bachelor of Science (1997) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctor (2000) from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Before her appointment, she served for many years as a judge advocate with the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserves (2003-2025). She also worked as a staff attorney and assistant chief counsel with U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Tucson, Arizona (2007-2011).
