The Honorable Immigration Judge Toniann Territola was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in July 2026. Judge Territola earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2015 from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Public Administration in 2019 from New York University, and a Juris Doctor in 2019 from Brooklyn Law School. From February 2024 to July 2026, she served as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in New York. From April 2023 to February 2024, she served as an assistant U.S. attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. From September 2021 to April 2023, she served as an attorney advisor for the New York – Varick Immigration Court, Executive Office for Immigration Review, Department of Justice. From September 2019 to September 2021, she served as a judicial law clerk and attorney advisor for the New York – Varick Immigration Court entering on duty through the Attorney General’s Honors Program. Judge Territola is a member of the New York State Bar.
